明るい未来

When I made these illustrations I imagined myself creating those ikebana themed calendars that is every grandmother’s house — if you’re Asian, you know what I’m talking about.

Akarui Mirai means a bright, positive future. That’s what I used to think about when I saw my grandma write down someone’s birthday date or a social event on her ikebana themed kitchen calendar.
